Strong wind will take over the state casing for a very high fire danger through Wednesday.
Strong upper level wind will continue to mix down to the surface on Tuesday allowing for wind gusts around 30 to 40 mph.
Along with the wind, humidity levels are expected to fall below 25% and the temperatures will continue to rise.
Due to the extreme fire weather, The National Weather Service has a Fire Weather Warning going into effect this afternoon.
Even stronger wind is likely on Wednesday with still hotter temperatures.
Wind gusts over 50 mph are possible Wednesday afternoon, especially along the Rocky Mountain Front.
A weak cold front will cool temperatures a bit on Thursday and the wind will likely still remain prominent.
Incoming high pressure will allow for temperatures will rebound significantly on Friday with highs returning to the upper 80s.
Much like this past weekend, Saturday is expected to remain mild with the highs in the mid 80s.
Sunday on the other hand is trending much cooler with highs remaining in the low 70s.
The cooler temperatures are expected to take us through the first portion of next week.
