Leftover showers from yesterday’s system push out of the north and east this morning.

We track another round of showers and snow showers falling across Western Montana this morning.

Temperatures have taken a drastic drop after the cold front moved through.

Snow and wintry mix accumulation possible in upper elevations across the Rockies and in some Central Montana mountains.

This will make for slushy roads and backcountry recreation.

We track widespread showers returning to the forecast this afternoon for lower elevations and the Plains.

Showers and cooler than average temperatures will remain in the forecast through the end of the week and into the beginning of the weekend.
