It may be 2019, but we are throwing it back to the 80s today… well maybe warming it up to the 80s is more like it!
Sunshine and warmer weather stick around today for most of the Treasure State.
There are only two exceptions: the Northeast Hi-Line could see a stray shower move through late this afternoon, and the far Southwest part of the state could see some heavy overnight showers as a disturbance moves through and kicks up moisture brought in from a nearby low.
All of us can expect to see scattered showers and t-storms return by tomorrow.
Models are still split on the timing and locations of these showers, but we will likely see an unsettled weather pattern return tomorrow afternoon.
Highs tomorrow still get into the mid to low 80s in most areas.
Warmer than average temperatures do stick around for a while, but showers are expected to return on and off through the weekend and into next week.
