Winter weather returns to upper elevations through Central Montana

and last updated

Settle in for a soggy and cooler week.

A low pressure system to our east is pulling some moisture in from the Gulf, and a low pressure system to our west is pulling in moisture from the Pacific.

We expect quite a few soggy days in the forecast with rain across the Plains and snow in upper elevations.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect parts of Cascade, Meagher, Judith Basin, and Fergus county until tonight.

We don’t expect as much rain as originally thought possible; so the good news is widespread flooding in Central Montana will be reduced greatly.

Temperatures return closer to average for the weekend, but shower chances remain in the forecast.
