Significant amounts of rain through Friday

We get a little break in the action this morning after showers move out toward the north and east.

A cloudy, cooler day is expected through the afternoon.

Rain and thunderstorms return by early evening.

Some thunderstorms across the Southwest could be severe.

Significant amounts of rain are possible for North-Central Montana through Friday morning.

It is still uncertain where exactly the highest amounts will fall, because higher accumulation totals will be localized.

Some areas across the state are likely to reach over one inch of rain through Friday night.

Flooding concerns are possible in areas that will see the highest amounts of rain as we head into the weekend.
