Dry and breezy conditions will take us into the work week.

Temperatures will remain about five degrees below average Monday.

The dry weather and wind will increase the fire potential throughout Central Montana.

Sporadic winds are anticipated on Monday.

These winds can cause fires to spread rapidly and quickly get out of control.

Rain will return to Montana on Tuesday as an area of low pressure tracks through the area.

Snow above 5,000 feet is likely with the lower elevations receiving primarily rain.

A strong high pressure ridge will wrap up the work week.

This will allow for plenty of sunshine and temperatures nearing the 70s on Friday.
