As we head out the door this morning, areas of rain in lower elevations are turning to wintry mix.
Temperatures drop near freezing, and wintry mix on roadways- especially on bridges and overpasses- could cause some slick spots.
Excess runoff from rain and snowmelt continue to swell small stream and creek beds.
Small stream flooding is still occurring in Meagher County and is expected to worsen with more rain and snow in the forecast this weekend.
No major river flooding is expected, but water on county roadways is a possibility in some areas in Central Montana.
A Winter Storm Warning is still in effect for upper elevations until 6 PM tonight.
We track a drier evening and night, but rain chances return by Thursday afternoon.
