We continue to track high pressure in our area which keeps us dry and mostly sunny today.
A few passing clouds are possible across the Northeast part of the state.
Temperatures are on the rise again!
As more sunshine continues to return, temperatures will rebound higher each day through the end of the week.
We go from highs in the mid 40s/low 50s today to the mid 50s by Thursday and Friday.
Snow will continue to melt away- especially in lower elevations- as temperatures warm to well-above freezing.
Mountain snow will start to slowly follow in the melting process.
Upper elevation snowpack was actually lacking until record-breaking/near record-breaking snow fell in February.
This upper elevation February snow put us back around normal for most of the mountains, but tipped us over normal for some areas in lower elevations.
This means we continue to watch for some possible areas of flooding in lower elevations these next few days- especially areas with poor drainage.
