Very foggy conditions are developing across the Northeast Hi-Line.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for those areas until 9 AM.
Windy conditions are picking up across Central Montana this morning.
Gusts are already clocking in around 30 MPH across the Hi-Line.
We are expecting gusts to even get up to 50 MPH across Central Montana today and around 65 along the Rocky Mountain Front.
A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect this morning until midnight for Central, MT and until 6 AM Tue for the Rocky Mountain Front/ East Glacier area.
A High Wind Advisory goes into effect across the Rocky Mountain Front and East Glacier at noon today until 6 AM Tuesday.
This is because snow will be blowing and drifting across roadways in these windy areas which will reduce visibility.
Gusts in areas that are high wind prone (along the Rockies) could experience up to 75 MPH gusts.
Something to also keep in mind: blowing/drifting snow will most likely melt on warming roadways and refreeze overnight creating very slick spots.
Overall, we are experiencing the Spring thaw thanks to the warming Chinooks and will most likely be dealing with icy roads for a few weeks due to refreezing.
