Record-breaking stretch of cold

Posted

We track a clear and cold start this morning.

Skies remain clear and sunny this afternoon, and temperatures rebound into the 20s.

A slightly ‘warmer’ trend is forecasted for the remainder of the week.

We will still stay well below-average, but temperatures will be much warmer than they have been these last few weeks.

Some areas will even break freezing by the end of the week.

Snow returns to the forecast tomorrow.

High pressure breaks down overnight, and light snow showers return in time for our morning commute.

Isolated snow showers stick through North-Central Montana for most of the day.

Snow is expected to be light Wednesday into Thursday morning.
