We are tracking snow moving into the area later this morning.
Most of the snow has been concentrated across Western Montana and the Rocky Mountain Front, but a disturbance moves through and snow chances become more widespread.
Snow will move out later this evening.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the northern parts of the Rocky Mountain Front until 11 pm tonight.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Central Montana through 5 AM tomorrow morning.

Temperatures remain ‘warmer’ in Southwest Montana, but this is still well-below average for this time of year.
Central Montana remains cooler and top out in the single digits this afternoon.
Snow returns again for Thursday evening, and chances remain in the forecast through the beginning of the weekend.

accumulations of 4 to 8 inches expected, with locally higher
amounts possible. Below 6000-ft elevation, up to 4 inches
expected. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph causing brief
periods of near-blizzard conditions.
* WHERE…Gallatin, Beaverhead and Madison.
* WHEN…Until 5 AM MST Thursday.
