Another week of below freezing temperatures are on tap for Central Montana.

Cold arctic air remains trapped over the state, allowing for temperatures to remain well below freezing.

Slightly warmer air will try and move in on Monday and Tuesday, however the cold air mass planted over the state will hold its ground.

The warmer air that does make its way into the state will overrun the cold air, in turn staying in the higher elevations.

Flurries are a possibility most every day this week, but Wednesday afternoon is when our next heavy hitter will move in.

This storm system is expected to bring snow accumulations around four inches on average for most in Central Montana through Friday.
