Snow mostly isolated to upper elevations until Sunday

Posted

We are tracking more wind in the forecast this morning.

Gusts up to 35 MPH are possible through Central Montana.

There are slight chances for snow in lower elevations today, but snow mostly stays isolated to upper elevations.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through this evening for areas above 4500 feet in Cascade, Meagher, and Judith Basin Counties due to breezy conditions and additional snow accumulation.

More snow is expected through the weekend in upper elevations with Kings Hill Pass being impacted most by higher accumulation amounts.

Milder weather sticks around in lower elevations through the weekend, too.

Rain moves into lower elevations Sunday and will turn to snow late Sunday evening.
