Winds return overnight and continue on Sunday, temperatures staying mild

High pressure aloft makes for a beautiful Saturday afternoon with above average temperatures across the region and finally some relief from the wind.

Ridge moves east tonight into the Dakota’s.

This allows mountain snow for southwest Montana and along the divide to move in tonight.

The ridge moving away will also bring in the return of winds overnight tonight.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Eastern Glacier and the Northern Rocky Mountain Front from 5 AM through 8 PM on Sunday.

Winds are not anticipated to be as strong as recent events but nonetheless something to be aware of.

Mild, above average temperatures continue on Sunday.

For the most part, expect milder temperatures, more wind and for the most part dry conditions next work week.
