Strong winds return on Tuesday

Strong winds significantly decreased Saturday evening allowing some relief to end out the weekend.

Temperatures remained well above average Sunday afternoon.

This trend will continue into the work week.

Mountain snow along the Continental Divide and mountains of Southwest Montana expected on Monday.

Adjacent valleys and plains will remain dry due to down sloping winds.

Winds will remain generally light on Monday before picking up again on Tuesday and staying strong through Wednesday.

More precipitation expected along the Continental Divide on Tuesday with the passage of a front with the possibility of some precipitation making it past the divide.

Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon wind gusts will generally be between 40-60 mph with the highest gusts expected along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Winds decrease a bit by Thursday but still remaining breezy through the end of the work week.

Temperatures finally drop a bit by the end of the work week, but still mild.
