A significant pressure gradient over Montana will continue to cause strong winds on Wednesday.

Most of Central Montana will see wind gusts in excess of 45 mph with a few areas in the immediate vicinity of the Rocky Mountain Front experiencing even greater wind gusts.

Travel along I-15 will continue to be extremely difficult Wednesday and high profile vehicles should use caution or avoid travel all together.

A few flurries can’t be ruled out just east of the Divide, however most of the snow will remain over the western mountain slopes.

Despite the wind temperatures will remain well above seasonal averages, reaching the 40s for most of Central Montana.

A few 50s are expected by by Friday.
