It’s going to be a very active few days across the state of Montana.

Along and west of the Continental Divide, heavy mountain snow will be piling up Tuesday & Wednesday.

East of the Divide, very strong winds are expected.

Various watches, warnings, and advisories are in effect, including a Winter Storm Warning, a Blizzard Warning, and a High Wind Warning.

Near white out conditions are expected immediately east of the Divide Tuesday evening through early Sunday, as heavy snow falls and winds gust up to 80 miles per hour.

Travel will be especially difficult near Marias Pass. Farther east, Central Montana will still experience strong winds, with gusts up to 40 miles per hour. These strong Chinook winds will also bring warmer weather.

Highs will be in the 40s both Tuesday & Wednesday.
