Clouds will hang around through Sunday evening and through Monday morning before many areas will gradually start to see some clearing in the afternoon.

Troughing aloft will hang around the next few days which will allow temperatures to be average or a few degrees below average for afternoon high temperatures on Monday and Tuesday.

Conditions will remain dry on Monday and Tuesday with light winds.

Wednesday is our next chance of seeing some precipitation across North Central Montana while a fast moving cold front moves southward.

Preliminary snowfall reports look to be generally an inch or less in lower elevations.

Accumulations in the mountains look to be pretty light at this time also with less than 3 inches generally expected.

Overnight low temperatures will be the big story this week.

Lows will be in the teens and single digits all week.

The cold front on Wednesday will also bring in below average high temperatures through Thursday.

By the end of the work week into next weekend, temperatures start to slowly rebound and rise to average or above average.
