Temperatures rise and winds increase the next few days

Ridging has started to build today and will continue to stay over the region.

The ridging will bring fair weather to the region including: mostly dry, breezy and warmer temperatures.

Afternoon high temperatures are expected to be above average between 40 and 50 degrees.

Winds will start to increase on Monday, but really becoming breezy on Tuesday, especially along the Rocky Mountain Front.

North Central MT will see gusts between 10-30 mph on Tuesday while along the Rocky Mountain Front, they could see gusts around 50 mph.

A few chances of Pacific moisture will be possible, but most snow staying in the mountains.

Temperatures will start to cool back down into the 30s by the end of the work week and into next weekend.
