Rain showers will once again develop across the state today moving from west to east, with snow showers expected in the higher elevations.
High temperatures this afternoon will be in the 40s and 50s.
A warm front lifts overnight, which will rise snow levels to 8000 feet Friday morning.
We can also expect widespread light rain across the region on Thursday.
High temperatures on Thursday will be warmer, in the upper 40s to mid-50s.
But, although temperatures will be warmer, with precipitation and windy conditions moving in, it won’t really feel much warmer.
The big story on Friday will of course be the rain, but most importantly the winds.
A High Wind Watch has been put into effect by the National Weather Service for the Northern and Southern Rocky Mountain Front and Eastern Glacier County.
The High Wind Watch will go into effect Friday at 6 AM and is set to expire Friday at 6 PM.
Winds in this area under the watch will be consistently blowing 25-35 miles per hour, with gusts up to 65 miles per hour.
