Active weather pattern for the rest of the week

Posted

We are tracking rain and snow moving out of the eastern part of the state, and more rain and snow moving back into our west by tonight.

A round of storms moving in from the Pacific will affect our area through the rest of the weekend.

There will be multiple rounds of snow and rain waves moving through until Sunday.

Snow is expected to fall in upper elevations with rain snow mix in lower elevations in the evenings, and rainy conditions will last through the Plains during the warmer times of the day.

Windy conditions are expected tomorrow through parts of West and Central Montana with sustained winds of 15-25 MPH and gusts up to 65 MPH.

This area has a High Wind Watch in effect from tonight into tomorrow afternoon.
