Chilly, breezy, and wet conditions for Halloween

Happy Halloween, ghouls, goblins and all in between!

Just in time for Halloween, Mother Nature has decided to bring rain and snow back into the forecast.

Temperatures will also be below normal for the region.

Breezy west and southwest winds continue today, with consistent gusts between 10-30 miles per hour.

Pacific moisture moves in today, bringing rain and snow. If you are heading out this evening to Trick-or-Treat stay up to date with radar on our STORMTracker weather app.

You may want to grab a rain jacket and put layers with that Halloween costume.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM Wednesday through 9 AM Thursday for portions of southwest and central Montana.

The following counties above 6000 feet are included in the Winter Weather Advisory: Cascade, Judith Basin, Gallatin, Madison, Broadwater, and Meagher.

This includes Kings Hill Pass.

This does NOT include Great Falls.

With this snow, plan on slippery road conditions and reduced visibilities at times.

A few snowflakes are possible in the plains of central Montana, but snow accumulations will be little to none.

More light snow and rain showers possible on Thursday with more unsettled weather to follow in the days following.
