The forecast stays a track with a high-amplitude high pressure ridge off the Pacific Coast currently that will move east over the coming days.

This ridge will bring in a warming and drying trend to the state with occasional breezy winds.

Monday morning will start off chilly and cloudy for most areas, with temperatures in the teens and 20s.

Clouds will dissipate through the morning and temperatures will quickly rise into the 50s for the afternoon.

Expect plenty of sunshine in the afternoon with breezy winds with gusts between 20-30 miles per hour.

Ridge will continue to build and move east throughout the work week, keeping afternoon high temperatures in the 50s and 60s through next weekend.
