Happy weekend! It’s like we skipped over fall and went right for winter here in Big Sky Country.
Cloudy, cool, rainy, and even snowy conditions are currently spread across north central Montana.
Accumulating snow will continue in the higher elevations through Sunday afternoon.
Lower elevations will likely see some snow mix in with rain overnight on Saturday through Sunday morning, with snow levels dropping to around 5000 feet, and then transitioning back to rain.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued Winter Weather Advisories (see below).
Monday we will see much different conditions. A big warm up is moving in with afternoon high temperatures back into the 60s and dry conditions expected as well.
Falling temperatures with more chances of rain/snow mix across north central Montana due to a cold front moves back in mid-week on Wednesday.
