GREAT FALLS — After more than two weeks out of operation, Hempl’s Bakery will reopen on Tuesday, April 28th.
While the bakery offered curbside baked goods during the first month of coronavirus restrictions, on April 11th the owners closed their doors.
According to their Facebook page, the 16-day-closure was intended “for some projects and to add some safety features to benefit you and our team.”
Hempl's opened in 1967, and have been family-owned and operated since.
They feature donuts, their famous champagne cake,cookies, bread, and fruit pizza.
Hempl’s Bakery said they will resume regular mode of operations on Tuesday, without curbside services, but will incorporate “additional barriers and safety.”
Hempl’s Bakery is located at 16 6th Street SW in Great Falls.
