GREAT FALLS — Enbar Craft Cocktail Lounge and its next-door neighbor The Block teamed up with Pasta Montana on Wednesday to help schools in Great Falls.
They donated more than 1,000 pounds of dried pasta and 500 jars of marinara sauce to Great Falls Public Schools.
Enbar general manager Mike Hallahan said this is an opportunity to fill up their food pantries and help in times of need.
"We saw an opportunity, and we contacted some of our friends with the Great Falls Public Schools, and we know that everybody in town is doing a lot of these awesome things with the sack lunches for breakfast and lunch. We saw a need that we could help fill in the evening time for dinners and stuff. So we decided to partner with the Great Falls Public Schools. We partnered with Pasta Montana, who donated all of the dry pasta for this project. We just felt it was the right thing to do."
Each school will get 20 bags of pasta and 20 jars of sauce.
