GREAT FALLS — As the demand for masks and face coverings due to COVID-19 shows no sign of slowing down, Benefis Health System is willing to pay some people to make them.
Benefis said in a Facebook post on Thursday that they are hiring temporary workers to make masks.
The temporary jobs will pay $12 per hour, and applicants must have sewing experience, and have their own sewing machine. The post does not indicate how long the jobs will last.
If you are interested, you can email a resume to HR@benefis.org, or apply directly to the Temporary Help – Mask Maker (#23650) position on the Benefis website.
Phase Two of the "Reopening The Big Sky" plan that went into effect on June 1st means that some restrictions on businesses and public gatherings have been loosened, but one thing that stays the same is a CDC recommendation for staying safe - wearing a mask or covering on your face, along with trying to maintain a six-foot distance from other people when in public.
