25 new U.S. citizens celebrate in Helena

HELENA — 25 individuals from 16 different, foreign countries became U.S. citizens Saturday in a ceremony at a Helena courthouse.

U.S. District Court Judge Sam E. Haddon conducted the ceremony.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalized over 800,000 people in the 2019 fiscal year.

When asked what's the first thing you'll do, this is what Jordan Sanchez, a new citizen had to say,

“Try to catch my dream and pursue more of my stuff that I want to do and help my family in the Philippines.”
