John Dale Atkinson II, 47, of Great Falls, passed away on January 25, 2021. He was born on December 9, 1973, at R.A.F. Lakenheath in England. As a military child, he grew up in several states. In 1993, he graduated from Mascoutah High School in Mascoutah, IL. He then moved to Great Falls where he would live for the rest of his life.
He worked as a cook at Park Place Healthcare Center for over 25 years. He was also a proud member of the Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Department and was the current Commander of Squadron Three for the Sons of the American Legion.
