Floyd “Bud” B. Frisbee, our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle, and brother, was taken unto God’s arms on February 18, 2021, at the age of 91.
Floyd was born in Belt, Montana on November 13, 1929, to Floyd N. Frisbee and Helen E. Presslitz. He was the third child of ten.
The family homesteaded southwest of Power, Montana in 1931. Growing up, his dad taught him about farming and how to build anything. He graduated from Power in 1948, and for a short time worked for the Forest Service. He liked to hunt and fish, and he won several trophies in archery. He returned to the farm to help his parents and then purchased the farm in April of 1969. Bud had a beautiful smile. He spent several years on the Board of Directors of the Power Farmers Co-op. He enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors work on equipment, build houses, and tractor cabs. He had a beautiful smile.
On November 13, 1966, Bud married Dolores Love and increased his family by adding two daughters, Connie and Gwenn; and in October of 1969, John joined the family.
In 1998, Bud and Dolores sold the farm and started a new adventure touring the world. They traveled to many wonderful places that he had dreamed of while looking at all the great places in the National Geographic publications during those cold Montana winters.
