Our angel came into our lives on August 17, 1992 fighting for her life. After a miracle she was finally able to come home.
Krystal had many struggles in her life, but always came out on top. Her pediatrician, Dr. Hinz, gave her a life expectancy of 2-5 years.
At the 5 year mark he adjusted it to7 – 10 years. When she turned 21, Dr. Hinz threw his hands in the air saying, “She may outlive all of us.”
Services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.
Krystal’s family loved her, and she loved everyone in her life. She was happy, active, and loved her videos, especially “Lion King.”
Her grandfather was her world. He took her for a ride in his van daily (weather permitting), and they held hands every night while watching “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune.”
He read books to her every day, and let her go through her 100s of videos one by one until she decided which one she wanted. It was normally the 99th one. She was very shrewd and cunning.
