Dorothy R. Fulk

Dorothy R. Fulk, 81, of Fairfield, a farmer, died of natural causes on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Westview Extended Care.

A Visitation will be held in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 19th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, Dec. 20th at 2:00 PM at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield.

Dorothy was born April 17, 1937 in Cut Bank, MT where she spent her youth going to the Meadow Brook School.  In the fall of 1950 they moved to the Crow Bench, where Dorothy went to Fairfield High School and met the love of her life Bill Fulk.  They were married October 6, 1956.  After a short stay in Great Falls, they went back to the farm in 1957 where she and Bill continued to farm.  Bill retired in 1998, but Dorothy continued to run her cows until 2005.

In their retirement, Bill and Dorothy took up snowmobiling, with many trips to Yellowstone Park.  On one of their trips to Yellowstone it was too warm to ride snowmobiles, and Bill and Dorothy got bit by the toy tractor collecting bug.  That “bug” snowballed into a 20+ year toy collection that has been in toy shows in Montana and Idaho.
