Richard Lawrence Mauseth, 81, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. also at Trinity Lutheran. Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Richard was born June 8, 1937, in Choteau, MT to Oliver and Emily Mauseth. He graduated from Choteau High School in 1957 and married Melba Morano on May 3, 1958 and they had 10 children. Richard worked for the City of Great Falls for 35 years.
He enjoyed gardening and yard work and prided himself on having the greenest lawn on the corner of 9th St and 4th Ave NW. He also liked to make hook rugs and afghans. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Teamsters Union.
