Craig Edward Pilling passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Craig was born on September 26, 1973 in Great Falls to Dennis Charles and Elva (Naff) Pilling. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes and Great Falls High School graduating in 1991. He graduated from U of M in Missoula with a degree in Fine Arts in 2002.
He married Julie Robertson in 1994 and they later divorced. He was married to Jennifer Guthals of Billings from 2003 to 2014.
He devoted most of his life to art, music, and woodworking.
He is survived by his parents; brother Curt Pilling; niece Crystal (Jason) Nightingale; and nephew Cameron (Tanya) Pilling.
Craig was passionate about planting trees since he was a young adult. He liked the outdoors, water sports, camping, and when he was younger, skateboarding and snowboarding.
While he was at U of M he went on an art class trip to Manchu Picchu and came back full of the experience.
