Shirley "Kay" (Nunley) Jauron

Shirley “Kay” Nunley Jauron, 82, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time.

Kay was born in Trimble, OH on January 11, 1936 to Juanita “Mae” McCall and James Edward Nunley. In June 1980, she married Leo “Chip” Juaron in Black Eagle, MT.

Kay worked as a waitress at Sambos, Gordons, Hotai, and Sheraton before going out on her own as owner/operator at the Polar Bear and K & A’s Cattleman Café.

While she was a wonder at customer service, her true love was painting and crafts, which she displayed and sold at the Great Falls Farmer’s Market.

People knew her as the “blue haired lady” there, stopping by to enjoy her great talents.
