BATH TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Michigan police department is reminding people that the popular phrase, "Ain't no laws when you're drinking Claws" isn't quite true. The phrase has gained popularity across social media with the rise in people drinking White Claw, the popular hard seltzer.

So, on Wednesday, the Bath Township Police Department made a post reminding people that, "there ARE still laws when you're drinking Claws."

The post has more than 1,000 shares and comments in just more than a day.

It goes on to say, "Especially when you get white girl wasted while drinking that fruity water and do something stupid," with the hashtags #WhenYouDrinkWhiteClawsWeStillEnforceLaws, #TheLacroixOfAlcohol, #YouKnowItsRightWhenYouDrinkABuschLight.
