HELENA – The Montana Legislature closed the 66th session on the 87th workday.

The Montana Senate adjourned sine die at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday. The Montana House of Representatives wrapped just before 3:30 p.m.

The final day included last-minute work on the major budget bill, HB2, and a bill authorizing $48 million for a new Historical Society Museum. Both passed.

This is a developing story, and we will update with more from the final day tonight during our evening news broadcast.
