United States Senator Jon Tester has announced who his guest will be for the State of the Union address: Briana Lamb of Missoula, a known advocate for missing and murdered indigenous women.
Lamb is currently working with the senator’s office on bringing more awareness to the missing and murdered indigenous women epidemic.
In a press release from Tester’s office, it says Lamb was a driving force for the recent Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearing.
Tester met Lamb last August during an urban Indian round table in Missoula.
