President Trump wrapped up his speech in Missoula by saying, “We will make America great again. Thank you, Montana.” The President left the stage at approximately 7:45 p.m. and then greet supporters in at the Minuteman Aviation hangar in Missoula.
President Trump ticked off a list of accomplishments that his administration has seen so far and added that voters should go out and support Rosendale and Gianforte.
President Trump assailed Sen. Tester saying that he helped “destroy the reputation of a great man, Dr. Ronny Jackson.” Dr. Jackson was selected by President Trump to head the VA before Jackson withdrew his candidacy. “He was attacked so viciously, so violently by Jon Tester,” President Trump said referring to Dr. Jackson. “That’s really why I’m here,” President Trump added. “I can never forget what Jon Tester did, to a man of the highest quality.”
Rosendale handed the podium back to President Trump who said “thank you” before being drowned out by chants of “USA!” “USA!”
President Trump introduced Rosendale just before 7:10 p.m. Rosendale took the stage and said, “President Trump and his policies are on the line.” Rosendale added that “I will never give up on repealing and replacing Obamacare.”
President Trump assailed Williams during his speech saying that the Democrat would kill the coal industry, and wants open borders,
President Trump also said of the Montana US Senate race that, “Democrats produce mobs. Republicans produce jobs.”
A woman in the crowd shouted to President Trump that, “I love your hair!” President Trump responded by thanking her before moving on to discussing his recent visit to Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.
President Trump — who is making his third trip to Montana to support Republican Senate candidate Matt Rosendale — said the Democratic of US Senator Jon Tester, “Your Senator is disgraceful.”
President Trump mocked Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, “crooked Hillary {Clinton} is a great unifier.” He went on to refer to the email scandal that plagued Clinton during the campaign.
President Trump began the night discussing defense issues and the selection of Judge Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court.
Air Force One landed at Missoula International Airport at 6:05 p.m. local time, following an uneventful flight.
President Donald Trump deplaned at 6:16 p.m. and was greeted by Republican US Senate candidate Matt Rosendale. President Trump took to the stage at approximately 6:30 p.m. and was greeted by chants of “USA! USA!” and responded by saying “It’s a great crowd.”
