GREAT FALLS — Jay Kinsey was driving northeast of White Sulphur Springs last week when he saw something unusual: three young mountain lions running along the road.
He posted video of the encounter to his Facebook page with the caption: "Some kitty cats out for a stroll today!"
He then shared the video with MTN News and wrote: "It was definitely not something a guy comes across every day. I took it by the Studhorse Road at the west end of Sutherlin Lake, just East of White Sulphur last Thursday. Just before that there was some crows and eagles picking on some deer that had been hit on the highway. At first I was like 'more crows picking up road kill,' then I noticed they were cats so I picked up my phone to show my wife and daughter when I got service. Turns out lots folks were glad I did....lol."
