Special Olympics Montana celebrates 50 years with annual truck raffle

GREAT FALLS — Special Olympics Montana is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and on Friday, the organization spread some joy with its annual raffle. The grand prize was a new pickup truck, and it was won by Karen Moyer. The drawing was held at City Motors in Great Falls.

The raffle raised $434,772 for Special Olympics this year, with 86,644 tickets sold.

Jon Hargett of Great Falls was the top ticket seller with 1,390; Jamie Darko was second top seller with 1,042.
