Million-dollar Powerball winner in Montana claims prize

A recent Billings million-dollar winner of the Montana Powerball has claimed the prize.

Representatives from the F.H. Peterson Living Trust of Billings claimed the $1,000,0014 winnings on February 9th,, according to a news release from the Montana Lottery.

The ticket was sold on January 23 at the Cenex Zip Trip station on 24th Street, according to the lottery.

Other recent prizes of more than $5,000 are listed below:

  • Donald Tweden of Helena claimed $5,477 on February 3 playing Shake A Day. Tweden bought his winning ticket at American Legion Post #2 in Helena.
  • Nicholas Jahner of Missoula claimed his winning prize of $14,518 on February 4 playing Shake A Day. Jahner bought his winning ticket at the Silver Slipper in Missoula.
  • Casey Cole of Whitefish claimed her prize of $10,106 on February 5 playing Shake A Day. Cole bought her winning ticket at Happy’s Inn LLC in Libby.
  • Jack Bradley of Fairfield claimed his winning prize of $7,777 on February 9 playing Super Hot 7’s. Bradley bought his winning ticket at Bob’s Valley Market in Helena.
  • Leslie Fisher of Helena claimed her winning prize of $77,777 on February 11 playing Mega Super Hot 7’s. Fisher bought her winning ticket at Cedar Street Conoco in Helena.
  • Dana McMillan of Helena claimed her winning prize of $12,000 on February 11 playing Crossword. McMillan bought her winning ticket at Town Pump on Prospect in Helena.
  • Vincent Gruszie of Havre claimed his winning prize of $623,753 on February 12 playing Montana Cash with Max Cash. Gruszie bought his winning ticket at Stromberg’s Sinclair in Havre.
