WHITEFISH — Monday was the last day of operations for the Great Northern Brewing Company in Whitefish.
For the past 24 years, Great Northern Brewing Company has been a staple in downtown Whitefish.
Former brewery owner Jeanie Konopatzke recently sold the building to Rod Isackson.
Konopatzke is unsure what Isackson plans to do with the building.
Isackson’s company also purchased the popular grocery store Markus Foods.
While a representative for Isackson's say they will not take over operations until 2021, the future of Markus is still unknown.
Great Northern posted the following message on Facebook on Monday morning:
Today we say goodbye. THANK YOU🙏 for the outpouring of love, support, kind words and stories of how GNBC has impacted your lives. ❤️ We will be pouring out of those brass taps one final time. Come see us. Tell us a story. Drink all the beers. 🍻
