The Park County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook on Tuesday that fire crews are battling "a terrible fire in Gardiner."
"If you can avoid the area please do so. Please keep all of those involved and this wonderful community in your thoughts and prayers," Sheriff Brad Bichler said in the post.
A witness said the fire appeared to have started at the Two Bit Saloon at 107 S. Second Street and spread.
Fire officials have not yet determined the cause or origin of the fire.
There is no word yet on whether anyone has been injured
