Almost everybody loves a little sibling rivalry, and it’s even better when it’s twin rivalry.

Shelly and Sheila Kidd are on the Havre Blue Ponies Special Olympics Montana team. The twins have participated in Special Olympics for the past ten years.

Even though they are on the same team, they prefer to participate in different events.

Sheila said, “Cause I beat her in everything…”

But sometimes their interests clash as both participate in the softball throw event.

Sheila proved to be right this time as she came away with the gold medal in the division. But Shelly came right behind her winning the silver medal.

Besides the softball throw, Sheila participates in the running line jump and the 100-meter dash.

Shelly also participates in the 50-meter walk.

When they’re not preparing or participating for Special Olympics, the twins like to spend their time watching wrestling, the NBA and The Bachelor.

The 2019 Special Olympics Montana Summer Games continue through Friday, May 16.
