A Browning man died and a Cascade man was injured in a crash near Ovando Tuesday morning.

The Montana Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred near mile marker 24 on Highway 200 around 5 a.m.

A 19-year-old man from Browning was driving west when he failed to negotiate a lefthand turn.

The vehicle went to the right side of the road, overcorrected, and slid off the road. The vehicle tipped and rolled twice before coming to rest on its wheels.

Both the driver and the 23-year-old passenger from Cascade were ejected.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene while the passenger was transported to the hospital.

Their names have not yet been released.

Alcohol, drugs, and speed are suspected factors in the crash, according to the MHP.
