JUDITH BASIN COUNTY – Reduced visibility and hazardous road conditions resulted in a motor-vehicle accident involving a semi and passenger car Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 87 in Judith Basin County.
Five individuals were extricated from vehicles and transported to the hospital.
The incident occurred around 7:10 a.m. near mile marker 15, according to the Belt Rural Volunteer Fire Department.
Responding units included: Geyser Fire Department, Geyser Ambulance, Judith Basin County Sheriff’s Office, Belt Rural Volunteer Fire Department, Belt Ambulance, Great Falls Emergency Service and the Montana Highway Patrol.
The extent and severity of the injuries with respect to the five patients is unknown at this time.
