BIG SKY, Mont. – A crash Friday morning caused some havoc in Big Sky, sending seven people to a nearby medical facility.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:51 a.m. at the intersection of Little Coyote Road and Lone Mountain Trail when a flatbed truck collided with a Big Sky Skyline bus.  Six passengers and the bus driver were reportedly injured.

“They actually told us seven were minorly injured,” said Big Sky Fire Department’s Bill Farhat. “The worst we’ve seen was broken bones from it but all were transferred to Big Sky Medical Center.”

Montana Highway Patrol, Big Sky Fire Department, and the Gallatin County Sheriff’s department all responded to the crash.

“We’ve been trying to move traffic as best as possible and we appreciated everyone’s patience,” Farhat added.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
