ALBERTON – Emergency crews have responded to accident involving a pickup truck and a train near Alberton.
The Frenchtown Rural Fire District is on the scene of the crash, which happened between the Cyr and Fish Creek exits off of Interstate 90.
Fire officials report that one person was taken to the hospital. There’s no immediate word on the extent of injuries.
The vehicle was pushed approximately a ½ mile before the train could stop, according to FRFD.
