(UPDATE, 3:45 p.m.) The Montana Department of Transportation road report indicates that Interstate 15 between Dillon and Monida Pass has reopened.

(1st Report, 11:30 a.m.) The Montana Department of Transportation is reporting that Monida Pass on Interstate 15 is closed Monday.

According to a notification from Beaverhead County 911, Interstate 15 is closed from Montana Exit 56 to Idaho Exit 167.

The closure is due to high wind, blowing snow, poor visibility and drifting, the alert said.

Workers from Idaho are bringing a snowblower machine to the pass to remove drifts.

Monida will be closed until conditions improve.
